Office Rental: Join this Friday’s Simulation & Guest Speaker Announcement This week, we are running an exciting new simulation: Office Rental. You will play the role of a landlord, or a potential tenant, and your task will be to negotiate the terms of a lease.

For the first time in the Master Negotiators Lab, this simulation sill be delivered in a hybrid manner. You can attend the session live as usual, on Friday at 4PM Eastern. You can also participate in the simulation on your own schedule this week and negotiate with a friend or with someone from the lab. Then, you can attend the live event on Friday or receive a video feedback.

We will be joined on Friday by Jared Lee, who is a McGill MBA alumnus with extensive experience in management consulting and training. He is currently the Principal of Juniper Advisers, a consulting firm based in Montreal.

About Jared Lee

Jared is a Principal at Juniper, a boutique advisory firm working at the creative intersection of strategy, innovation, and culture. He helps clients make integrated decisions to complex problems to better achieve their goals and more effectively serve their stakeholders. He has broad experience in the education, transportation, non-profit, and other sectors, including advising clients on strategic planning, product and service innovation, organizational effectiveness, and leadership.

Jared is also a faculty member of the McGill Executive Institute where he leads several programs with an emphasis on design thinking, innovation, and strategy. He has launched new courses and learning programs at McGill’s own Desautels Faculty of Management and Max Bell School of Public Policy. He also regularly facilitates workshops at the Smith School of Business (Queen’s U.) and the John Molson School of Business (Concordia U.). Jared provides custom workshops and one-on-one coaching for a variety of clientele.

Jared received his MBA in Global Strategy & Leadership from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, where he was awarded the Dean’s Medal for Great Distinction. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, where he was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida. He is a McGill Certified Agile and SCRUM Master.
