Master Negotiators: Register for Lab Meeting With Guest Erin Gleason Alavarez

Tuusula This Friday, we have the privilege of hosting Erin Gleason Alvarez as a guest. Erin is an independent arbitrator, mediator and negotiation consultant.

We will start the session by discussing her innovative negotiation approach, based on meditation. Then, we will run a negotiation simulation so you can practice your negotiation skills. You can also observe other people negotiate.

We will meet on Friday, February 4th at from 4PM to 5:30PM Eastern on Zoom.

About Erin Gleason Alvarez

Erin Gleason Alvarez is an arbitrator, mediator, and negotiation consultant. She is a member of the American Arbitration Association Commercial Arbitration Panel, the CPR Institute Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, and Resolute Systems New York and National Mediation Panels.

Ms. Gleason is also the founder of Take Charge Negotiations® through which she has provided corporate and law firm training on Mindful Negotiation™ to over 1,000 people since the company was founded in 2019.

Ms. Gleason holds a Master of Laws degree from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. Her Master’s thesis, “International Arbitral Appeals, What Are We So Afraid Of?” was published by the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal and received the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution Award for Outstanding Scholarship. She is also co-author and editor of the CPR Institute’s “Mediation Best Practices Guide for In-house Counsel: Make Mediation Work for You.”

Ms. Gleason has spoken at many conferences and special events in and out of the U.S. relating to arbitration, mediation and negotiation best practices, including events facilitated by the United Nations, the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution, ICC, AAA/ICDR, RIMS, CEDR, the NYC Bar Association, the NYS Bar Association, and the ABA. Her work has been featured by Practical Law, GOOP, Female Founders Collective, Arbitral Women, and on various podcasts.
