Why a Revolving Door of Team Members Is Fuel for Success

Misoprostol no script BBC News reached out to me this week to comment on a new research paper by Giuseppe (Beppe) Soda (SDA Bocconi), Pier Vittorio Mannucci (London Business School) and Ron Burt (Chicago Booth), that was just published in the Academy of Management Journal.

The authors investigate the conditions under which bringing new faces in a team spurs creativity. They did so by investigating the composition of core crew members for 273 episodes of Doctor Who, which they related to creativity ratings.

If there is one thing that always catches my attention, it’s a creative use of archival data in research papers. I absolutely love it.

Congratulations to the authors for an intriguing paper that I enjoyed reading.
