BCom Students Negotiate Their Way to $30k in Savings

mail order antabuse In every negotiation class I teach, I organize a Master Negotiator Contest. My students compete in teams and engage in real-life negotiations involving actual money throughout the entire semester.

Teams can win the contest in two categories: (1) the team that has the highest number of successful negotiations, (2) the team with the highest savings. My TA Julia Cerone runs the vetting process with receipts, contracts and so on. She’s the brains of the operation, I’m just the pretty face.

This year, one of my sections achieved a total of $30K in savings and 209 documented negotiations. They outperformed every section I have ever had. Hell, they blew it out of the park.

Credit is especially due to the Winners of the Master Negotiator Contest, 2020 (Section 1)

Team #1 – Highest Number of Negotiations
Eva Ren
Maxime Lakat
– Nicholas De Francisco Paul
Jasmine Saluja

Team #4: – Highest Return
Maya Rolli Astrologo
Leila Bakkioui
– Nicoletta Athanasopoulos
Younes Mohamad

Their results are so exceptional that McGill University – Desautels Faculty of Management decided to write an article about them. Please join me in congratulating them!
