23% of Linkedin members are located in Europe

Linkedin is the first professional network on the internet. As of November 3, 2011, Linkedin has 135 million members in over 200 countries and territories. Most of Linkedin’s members are outside the United States. 55 million Linkedin members are located in the US (41%) while 79 million are located outside the US (59%). Europe is one of the biggest regions on Linkedin. As of November 21, 2011, Linkedin has 31 million members in Europe, which represents 23% of its total members.

15% of Linkedin members are located in Asia and Pacific

Asia and Pacific is the third biggest region on Linkedin after the US and Europe, with 20 million members (15%). The United Kingdom is the biggest European country on Linkedin with 8 million members as of December 6, 2011. France and the Netherlands come second with 3 million members, followed by Spain and Italy (2 million members) and belgium (1 million). The DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) represents 2 million Linkedin members.
